All through life I have suffered from the plague of allergies.  Every year starting in about March, but sometimes as early as mid-February, the misery would begin. An itchy throat, sneezes, itchy eyes, drowsiness, and a hyper-sensitive nose were typical symptoms that would bother me untill June 10. That was the date I always pegged for the end of the seasonal affliction. If you know the yearly drill, you know the names... Claritan, Tavis D, Allerest,
Because we believe in divine health and have not been sick in years, nor carry medical insurance, I always believed the year would arrive when God would take the allergies away.
This is the year.  As we watched the rains continue through winter and spring, at first i thought, "OH NO, it's going to be a bad year for allergies". But then I started reminding myself "wait a minute, I'm a Christian" and walking in God's promises".
So I got some of God's promises that He told us about:
Psalms 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; for it is writtenand I really like this one:
Ps. 103:2
Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases;
4
Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5
Who satisfieth thy desire with good things, So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle. 
Well, it is not enough to read the promises, we had to take action because "faith without works is dead..", and He told us to "fight the good fight of FAITH.."  ..and that my faith would be tested.
The good promise that I was ALREADY healed when Christ suffered for my sins now became the firm hope I would stand on through the allergy season.
"For by His stripes ye WERE healed"..
So knowing and believing that I was no longer under the curse, and that God gave me many promises in His book, I began to confess what He said, the report of the Lord, not the report of the doctors and drug companies.
Once and a while, a symptom would try to test me, a sneeze here, an itchy eye there. Every time I fought back with "the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God" and rebuke the symptom In Jesus' Name...
The winds have blown, the pollen count has soared, but I am healed of a lifelong affliction. No meds, no tiredness, no days of misery.
This is how we overcame over 50 years of allergies ... What an awesome God..
Thank you Jesus.
