I got this from food and wine magazine and decided to tweek the recipie. I also encourage you to play around with it to your tastes. I'll tell you what, I've made it twice adjusting it both times and it was a big hit with the gang at work, and at home too. It's very good, commercial quality!

1-2lbs Carne Asada- purchase at a Mexican Carniceria for best cut and price
1-Sam Adams Beer
1/2- cup of soy sauce
1-Tbl worschestersire sauce
1/2 Tbl onion powder
1/2 Tbl garlic powder
course black pepper

marinate 4hrs min
place meat on cookie cooling racks, over oven racks
cook on 200 degrees for 4hrs, or until desired texture
-or cook on 175 degrees for 7-8 hrs, or until desired texture

let cool, enjoy!
Store in fridge in tight container for up to a month

I have yet to have someone say "it's OK."
I think the beer does the trick!

LOL.....The meat was only a couple of bucks, the beer was the most expensive part as I had to buy 6, drink 5, and use one in the recipie. :rofl:

Best place to get meat is that carniceria next to KFC. They will put a GOOD dry rub on it for you if you ask. Great stuff.
