We give a four thumbs down to chilis restaurant!
We went there last friday, the menu has change "sense we were there last". The portions are alot smaller. The kids got each a kids meal. Witch was alot of food for them. They were still hungrey, when we got home I  feed them again!

I had a margarita and it barley had an alcohol in it.

We will never go back there again.  We have been talking to our friends in town and they have similar  stories also. Very disappointed.

Chilis step up your bussiness!! They lost our bussiness.

That's everywhere. I eat out a lot because of the hours I put in on my job and being a bachelor there are instances when it's cheaper for me not to go grocery shopping.

Here's the deal. The economy is bad, people (families like yours) are eating out less. So restaurants (And it's not just Chilli's, it's everywhere in Los Banos except Woolgrowers.) are raising prices and decreasing portions. Has anyone besides me noticed the same meal at the fastfood places that were $5 in 2008 are now $7.

The only advice I can give is eat out less until the economy turns around. Knowing economics, the prices aren't likely to fall but the portions may get bigger because they'll need some way to get you to choose them over their competitors.

Wow sorry to hear that. It's easy not to go back because that's what we do as customers, we vote with our wallets. But because we have such a limited choice of places to enjoy with our familes, I would call the manager and experss yourself. Also let them know you have expessed your displeasure where many eyes can see. You would be surprised at how sometimes "decision makers" are unaware of your displeasure which does not give them a chance to "make it right." If smaller portions are a corporate strat, then that is your decision not to return to any Chillis, but if locally they are looking to "trim the fat" let them know it is making the difference in whether you choose to patronize them.

Bet you will be surprised.........that is unless there is a cocky young kid responding, in which case corporate needs to be notified of his/her response to your concern.  It's worth it ......

I've always had good experiences there. I was not happy about them changing up their salads though. Recently, I had the salmon with veggies and rice and it was off the hook! I always ordered burgers in the past and fried stuff....not anymore. I'm sorry your time at Chili's was bad. You should write them about your experience and maybe they will compensate you a little so you can give them another chance. :)

Chili's is a hit-or-miss with me. I really like their fajitas, chicken fried steak, and loaded mashed potatoes. I used to get their ribs alot, but I stopped because last 2 times I ordered them, they had practically no meat on the bones. My usal order is the chicken fried steak. That fills me up plenty and its one of their less-expensive items. I like the service. Every time I been there, the waiter or waitress has been cool, and kept my drinks refilled, which is always a bonus. To me, drink refills witout having to get their attention scores really high for me. Chili's is great with that, and 6th Street Diner is the worst at that in my experience there. Great food at 6SD, but not so hot on the refills and attentive staff.
