The Dehavilland DHC-2, fixed wing single engine (8 seats / 1 engine) crashed during a water landing on May 28, 2019.  There were no injuries as a result of the crash.

The plane was built to land on both land and water. Landing in the San Luis Reservoir was at one time permitted, however aircraft landings have not been allowed on the property for over 5 years.
