In Loving Memory of Antone Pereira

Antone Pereira was born in Los Banos May 6, 1924 and passed away March 3, 2012. He was born and raised on the same ranch that was passed on to him from his dad. He graduated 8th grade from Charleston School. Antone was a farmer all his life and loved growing food for the world. He never forgot his humble beginnings and shared those work ethics, values and memories with his family. He was a devoted husband of almost 60 years and a tremendous father. Antone and his wife Madeline raised 4 children. His love in life were family, farming, hunting, fishing, camping and bar-b-queuing. Antone was a member of the NRA and Los Banos Sportsmens. He is preceded in death by his parents A.F. and Maria Pereira. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Madeline Pereira, son Anthony Pereira (Lillian), son Ron Pereira, daughter Karen Pereira all of Los Banos, son Mike Pereira (Jolene) of Dos Palos. 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. 3 brothers Joe, Manuel and Henry Pereira and sister Mary Silva all of Los Banos. A Visitation will be held Thursday, March 8th at 5pm, Rosary will follow at 7pm at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel. Mass will be held Friday, March 9th at 11am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Los Banos Cemetery. Contributions can be made to Los Banos VFW, 1244 Arizona Ave., Los Banos, New Bethany Skilled Nursing, 1441 Berkeley Dr., Los Banos or Our Lady of Fatima School, 1625 Center Ave., Los Banos.
